Heute präsentiere ich mal etwas ganz Neues, den Rock habe ich gestern fertig gestellt! Kaum zu glauben, letzten Mittwoch war ich nicht dabei, aber vor zwei Wochen habe ich noch ein Sommerkleid angezogen. Nun ist es definitiv Herbst, und mein erstes Herbst-Stück tatsächlich schon genäht!
Today I am presenting a skirt I only just finished yesterday. It's hard to believe that two weeks ago I showed a summer skirt. I had to skip last week, and now it is definitely fall already. I am proud that I actually sewed a first fall piece already, right in time with the season!
Der Schnitt ist von "schnittchen" und kann HIER online um nur 3,90 Euro gekauft werden. Ich habe gejubelt als ich sah, dass Grösse 36 wirklich genau meine Masse sind und ohne Probeschnitt losgelegt. Ich finde den Schnitt super. Ich habe einen Unterrock eingenäht, und für mehr Bewegungsfreiheit hinten einen Schlitz gemacht, ansonsten nichts geändert. Die Jacke ist vintage und ich liebe sie so heiss, dass ich vielleicht irgendwann den Schnitt kopiere...
The pattern is from "schnittchen" and can be bought online HERE for only 3.90 Euros. I rejoiced when I saw that the numbers for size 36 matched mine exactly and started sewing without muslin or anything. I love this pattern. I added an underskirt and a slit in the back, so I can move easier, other than that I changed nothing. The jacket is vintage and I love it so much that I might copy the pattern at some point...
Den Rock habe ich aus einem Rock geschneidert, Grösse 44, aber trotzdem wurde es mit dem Stoff knapp. Leider konnte ich auch die Karos an den Seitennähten nicht passend schneiden. Für den Bund hat es nicht mehr gereicht, so nahm ich ein bereits angeschnittenes Jackett von meinem Mann zu Hilfe, dessen Futter dann auch zum Rockfutter wurde.
I made the skirt out of a skirt size 44, but it still got a bit tight with the fabric. I couldn't match up the plaids on the side seams. I also didn't have enough to make the waistband anymore, so I took an already cut up jacket from my husband which also delivered the lining fabric...
Ich liebe diesen Rock und werde ihn bestimmt oft tragen. Diese "neue" Länge ist für kurze Beine wie meine einfach ideal und ich fühle mich sehr elegant darin. Tatsächlich ist der Rock trotz Schlitz noch etwas eng beim Gehen, und zwingt mich vom Bauern-Schritt zum Damen-Gang. Auch mal nicht daneben.
I love this skirt and will wear it a lot. This "new" length is ideal for short legs like mine and I feel very elegant in it. The skirt is actually still a bit tight for walking in my usual way and it makes me change my farmers-march to lady-steps. Not so bad either.
Obwohl der Rock perfekt sitzt überlege ich, ob ich kleine Gürtelschnallen annähe und dazu einen schmalen roten Ledergürtel tragen soll (den ich leider noch nicht besitze...). Was meint ihr dazu?
Even though the skirt fits perfectly, I am thinking of adding belt loops and wearing a narrow red leather belt with it (which I don't own yet...). What do you think?
